So, Mrs. LV and I were enjoying a quiet Thanksgiving together, with much Turkey/Pie/Whatnot. We sat down in front of the Telly to catch up on the last few episodes of Doctor Who before we’re completely caught up to the 50th Anniversary Special.
And, on comes the episode Nightmare in Silver. Won’t say much about it, not entirely and completely accurate to the world of Caissa. But all I can say is, as a Whovian going back to the days of the Fourth Doctor, a chess-centric episode was a most cool way to spend Thanksgiving afternoon.
I hope this link below is OK to post - even if you just watch the first five minutes you will get a most modernized version of a legend of the Chess world. And, should you watch the whole thing, and it makes a Whovian out of you… Double mission accomplished.
