I don’t think it would be proper for the MonRoi to AUTOMATICALLY provide this information, but I see no real difference between looking at the past moves using a MonRoi and using a score sheet to perform the same function.

If you WEREN’T able to look at past moves using the MonRoi, this would be a serious disadvantage compared to using a regular score sheet.

The problem is that by scrolling through the move list, you can SEE the exact position at any move in the past. I did that for fun after one game. This helps a lot in verifying that a third repetition has occurred. I suspect this would be illegal under intent of the old rules.
