MUIR is blocking me from submitting tonight’s tournament. It’s the same problem I had in July. The tournament had 13 players. Fortunately, one of the fathers used to be a member so had a USCF ID. I asked him to play so none of the kids have to sit out a round — since it’s only 3 rounds anyway. I was able to release it for review; has anyone else run into this and know what the typical turnaround time is?

Since he was my house player, I didn’t make him pay for the tournament, and he was ineligible for prizes. Which was sad because everyone he played was higher rated than he, and he had two wins and a draw.

On the form where you put in his ID, there should be a ‘house player’ slide.

I’m assuming this tournament is not being run as a JTP event, because adult house players are not permitted to participate in JTP events.

I don’t recognize the JTP acronym. But it’s registered as non-scholastic/ non-Grand Prix event.

I used the slider but MUIR still objects that I needed an extra player in each of the 3 rounds.i submitted the event and it’s waiting for review.

What’s the event name and/or 12 digit ID, I’ll see if I can look at it.

Thank you.

The ID is 202610230283
Name is FBCC 2026 National Horror Movie Day Open

It’s submitted. It’s just waiting for someone to review it and release it; then I can pay and it can be rated.
