# How long to receive club TD certification?

I submitted my written application for club TD four weeks ago.
No word yet from USCF.
I am a life member and have an OTB rating as well as correspondence rating.
Does anyone have any idea how long this process requires?

Nicholas, when I check MSA I see that you are listed as a Club TD with an expiration of 5/31/2021, which is the normal three-year Club TD term with the standard end-of-month expiration.

I checked your MSA ([http://www.uschess.org/msa/MbrDtlTnmtDir.php?12437580](http://www.uschess.org/msa/MbrDtlTnmtDir.php?12437580)) which indicates you are certified as a Club TD. As far as I know US Chess does not send out actual certificates any longer. I am not sure if they send an e-mail or not (of course they would need to have a correct e-mail address to do that) regarding certification.

US Chess records indicate this club certification as having been processed at 2:04 PM CDT on May 3rd. The member should have received an email about it, but it may have gotten placed in a spam folder.

Thanks for the heads up on the certification.
I started a club for my area to promote chess and am hopeful that
given time I will have enough players to run numerous tournaments.
I’m sure I’ll be visiting this site quite often.
Appreciate the quick replies from everyone.

Welcome! When you are ready to become a USCF affiliate, let us know. This will add you to the list of WV clubs. Set up a website and link to other clubs in the tri-state area. When you do start holding tournaments, I will let my Monroeville CC members know. Wheeling is less than 100 miles from our club.
