I have a player coming to a tournament without a FIDE rating who is a Chinese Candidate Master. Does anyone have any idea what US Chess rating that would represent, or a way to look up a Chinese rating?

Just use 2999. That can’t be too far off.

Or play a speed chess game against that player and use that to see if 2000 might be a reasonable point?
On the chesstour.com web site there is a listing for conversion of a Chinese chess rating. The top is 2000 & above that show +300 to the Chinese rating. I found this with a google search.

Thank you. Can someone point me to a list of Chinese ratings?
