I also wondered about the topic of this thread at the beginning. As it progressed, I realized that this discussion is pertinent to this forum as the browser is used by chess players to read and post in this forum, go to chess topic types of sites, and especially various chess sites where chess is played with the browser. Therefore I find this to be of some interest to our forum.
I do caution anyone posting to make sure any threads they start on any of these forums is chess related and also related to the specific forum they are posting. For instance, this thread would not work in the USCF Issues Forum.
One of the points I had not thought of that was raised, is the issue of visual impairment when using the browser. I was sorry to read of a member with cataract problems in his 40s, but it is no doubt an issue for many older players too.
