Is delay ethical at extreme situations?

Sir, while I understand someone may get tired of hearing what they think are the same arguments, I think a closer inspection will reveal that it’s a bit different.

While I do think the discussion of hypotheticals of a situation regarding delay clocks went on far too long, my subject was concerning the rules defining clock standards and what type of clocks were to be used.

Then perhaps you should have started a new thread entitled: Equipment Standards: Clocks.

I don’t mean to be harsh nor rude, but there is always inadvertent hijacking of other people’s threads (as I find myself doing here ).
When the subject changes, we should all try to start a new thread, which I will do now

Good point! I’ll remember that next time, if there is a next time!

I also am thankful to rfeditor who explained the reason for dropping the term “sudden death.” I knew there had been at one time TLAs that said time control was SD/120, and sudden death as talked about here was sounding like G/120, so I thought they were interchangeable, but wan’t sure.
