My rating picked up tremendously for the three years I knew him at LSU 65-68.

Sorry I don’t have the game score. He won with White against Pieteo Rotelli of Italy rated 1979.

They only provide the top 30 boards on the Internet. Hopefully Jude will be in the top 30 for round 5.

One of the things I have wanted to do for a long time is to play Jude in New Orleans. In recent years on my trips through the city I have not had the time, or the opportunity. Thanks Russell for keeping us posted!

Is it possible for some one to change the heading of this whole thread to “Jude Acers games from 2009 World Senior”

The website on Wednesday is not working and I have only the first 20 moves of the game. Looks to me that Jude is losing.

Sorry no game score. Once again the website died, this time at move 16 of Jude’s game.

Thanks to who ever fixed the heading of this thread.

Rd 10 for Jude (White) against Hayri Ozbilen of Turkey rated 2113. Since they are on board 33 it probably will not be shown on the Internet website even if it works on Friday.

In round 11 Jude will have black against Antonio Pipitone of Italy rated 2058. I don’t expect this game to be shown on the event website. Hopefully Jude will win and Larry Kaufman will include the score on his wrap up report on the event. Larry drew in rd 10.

Sorry but the official website is not giving up any information on the 11th and last round games of the World Senior event. The site does have the final crosstable from which I learned that Jude won his 11th round game and finished with a score of 6-5 and is listed in 60th place.
