Membership problem & rating report

There was a large scholastic tournament held in early February (2005 Young People’s Tourney in Berkeley) in which a number of new memberships were collected. However, these memberships do not seem to have been sent in or processed yet.

Some players from that event have been using their USCF membership form receipt to play in our club tournaments, but we cannot submit them for rating purposes until they have a membership number. Any suggestions on what to do? We have a few scholastic events from the first weekend in March that are still collecting dust on the online submission area while we wait…

If you have nothing important on a Tuesday from 6.30 - midnight, you could stop at the club.

The public record (ie, the tournaments received list) really doesn’t offer a lot of information on the status of an event, especially one that gets delayed in processing.

Moreover, the USCF forums are not an appropriate place to answer questions about the status of events. Contact the USCF office by phone at 931-787-1234.
