Looks like the State Filter is not working. It had been working ok until today.
Reported to developers.
It seems to be intended, as it is spelled as âstate rankâ. But it would be still convenient to have a switch on the page to optionally renumber the rank, when gender filter is selected. Thank you

It appears you did both âstateâ and âwomenâ, and no, it doesnât renumber those, but it does do proper rankings by state. I can see if redoing the rankings regardless of the filter settings can be added to the worklist, along with adding filters for junior and senior rankings, although there are some privacy issues to be resolved with those, because showing the rankings for age groups gives out some age-related information about members.
I donât get the current design (I have been doing ranking stuff since 1981)
Ranking lists are fundamental reports â the concept of a High Level Category (monthly pre calcâd) rank and a display level (Dynamic Filter) rank should always be available â especially in a new design.
Even the old system State lists were better (useful) and offered more filters.
Whenever you move from a custom-written system to one using more off-the-shelf functions you end up losing some of the useful tailoring and you often end up having entries take longer and/or be more cumbersome. You also end up gaining functionality you didnât have before and being more likely to find people that can maintain the system.
I expect temporary loss of some functionality, mourn the potential permanent loss of some things, anticipate some functionality gains, and take comfort in knowing that more than one person will be capable of maintaining it in the future. If Mike Nolan was granted healthy immortality then the case for a change would have been weaker. At least doing the change now gives us a long time for Mike to advise on what people need and how to use the database to meet those needs.
PS delaying a rollout until every bit of functionality has been brought over results in never doing the rollout.
