Short’s ability to cause a stir is not limited to alleged male vs. female differences. He also has slammed Scotland for seeking independence, noting the inferiority of players from Scotland. His column in NIC always generates angry letters in reply to his latest scathing criticism or outrageous statement.
Always?? I have’t seen any letters castigating him for his comments about Susan Polgar and Paul Truong.
