That is what I was trying to say, but you have said it much more succinctly.
I was finally able to convince the TD that his distribution was less than ideal, and he agreed to bring the A class up, thereby giving the next class C player his share of the prize fund.
Apparently, though, the way the rules are written, and the absence of a specific rule, there are several ways to distribute in this type of case. The prevailing rule (the one which convinced him) was 32C2 that requires the class A to be paid. In his original distribution, he had kept this prize.
I still think an ADM expanding the part of the rule in 32B4 that requires bringing up the higher class prize to include cases where place prizes are combined with class prizes. Surely, we’re not the only ones who use this type of awards.
A TD Tip would certainly be better than what we have now, and I’d have no objection to that as at least a start.
