Is it just me or does the “remember me” function when you sign in to this web site not function the way it should? It seems that I have to sign in every day now. (IE 7.0, XP)

I’ve heard from a number of sources that IE8 (beta 1 was released in March) breaks a LOT of web pages, but as far as I know the ‘remember me’ button should work with IE7. (I assume this isn’t the AOL-ized version, which is known to fail miserably with our website and some others.)

Do you logout when leaving this site? I’ve found that if you don’t logout, then remember me works fine.
Marty has been notified of this and will do some testing with IE7. Unless he can reliably reproduce the situation, it’s very difficult to do anything about it.
If you have recently installed software that cleans cookies or anything like that that would cause it not to be remembered. Or it could even be a firewall issue.
Maybe download a copy of Firefox and see if the issue is still there.
Some browsers have settings to delete all cookies when the browser exits, IE7 may be one of them.
Ok, this was totally my bad… 
I didn’t realize how high my cookie setting was without at least having manually added uschess.org to acceptable sites. It seems to be working now. Thanks for the suggestions, guys!
