Rerates planned for overnight

New events should start getting rated shortly, it was a bug.

Is the display issue reported already?

Not sure what display issue you’re referring to here.

A larger rerate is planned for tonight, probably going back to around 2020 because we made some corrections to events on MUIR going that far back.

@nolan It looks like a display issue.

Just cosmetic, does not break anything. But, is there a ticket already on it?

Thank you

Yes, I created a ticket on it, and I wasn’t sure there wasn’t something broken in the database.

I am guessing it is because the player had a game in both the extra rated games section and the rising stars section at least in the first one I checked.

MUIR might be rating by tournament rather than section.

but it does not seem to happen for other tournaments with extra rated section.

Looking at the two players in the one extra game in the much larger National School Grade, you are correct.

Yes, the issue seems to be specific about that event https://ratings.uschess.org/event/202512080133?section=0

I know they’re rating by section, I don’t know why the display is munged.

Hi @nolan , do you have an update on the issue on this specific tournament? Thank you

whether was just a display issue, or database messed up.

@nolan could you please help check this player’s rating https://ratings.uschess.org/player/32088318 ? where did 106 /22 come from with a floor of 150

do they have an update on it, whether display issue or something broken in the database?

Has this overnight rerate going back to January of 2025 been completed? I checked just now and it seems my event from Saturday has kept me at the exact same rating.

Yes, it ran overnight, I know because a player I put a 2200 OLM floor in for with a 1/1/25 date (he actually earned it before 1991) went through and he now has a 2200 rating.

Your event from Saturday would have been rerated several times since then, so it’'s probably stable unless there are tardy events or corrections. Might wiggle by less than a point, you can check the FP values on MUIR, but it won’t show the change from one rerate to the next.

Thank you! Is it possible for you to confirm if the title has been awarded? I have a major event (USATE) coming up next week, and would appreciate that peace of mind.

I doubt if the title will be officially awarded before then but it does look like you made NM on the 7th.
