Does anyone know how to look up what title/rating/results someone had in Russia?
The Russian and Ukrainian chess federation sites can be translated. Unfortunately, their ratings show only the top men and women players. Have not been able to see an overall list to determine how many rated players each federation has. For example, the Ukrainian Federation only lists the top women above 2200. The Russian top 100 shows their incredible depth.
One interesting thing on the Russiachess.org site was a section on the Children’s Cup showing the extent of the federation’s involvement in youth chess, the number of qualifying events, and what the international tournaments the kids are able to qualify for.
