Almost a lock to exceed last year’s elementary total. That would make all three spring scholastics (combined) bigger than last year - and last year was good.

We’ve slipped over last year’s totals. We’ll have some cancellations and no-shows, but we will also have more registrations on-line through 5/6 as well as onsite registrations. Won’t surprise me if we hit 2300 but I doubt we get to 2400.

2226 as of 6:30 AM CDT on 5/4. (25 per day needed to double the JH) (I’m wondering if adding the friends and family tournament will get the numbers to 2400 / requiring 1200 boards and sets)

There are 2277 separate entry lines for players that played at least one game, but there are a LOT of section changes so I wouldn’t be surprised to learn that the number of unique IDs was a little short of 2250.
There were 65 in the Friends and Family side event.
2257 as of 7 PM CDT on 5/5.
Final total was 2260 (17 mid-event section changes). Six sections were won by a sole 7-0. Two sections were won by a sole 6.5-0.5. One section had multiple co-champions at 6-1.
Looking only at pre-event ratings, the two masters in the event scored 5.5-1.5 and 6-1, two experts went 6.5-0.5, five experts went 6-1 and six experts went 5.5-1.5.
