If Black insists on giving away his kingside, White does not have to cooperate by self-blocking with 5.Bd3, which complicates the win. Instead, 5.d4 d5 6.Bd3 is totally winning.

There is no need to give up central control with 8.dxc5 (even though White must be winning after 8…Rxg2 9.Nc3). The general (human) principle is not to give up any advantage without trading it for a bigger one.

Try 8.Ne5 instead: 8…Rxg2 9.h4 and White gets to choose the winning method: white-square attack or h-pawn roller.

I don’t mind being trolled, but this is trolling the game of chess itself.

Why move a piece twice with 7.Ng5? Not a bad move, not the most human. Yes, 7.Ng5 Rg7 8.h4 must be winning, but it gives Black slender hope for counterplay. (Leave the king in the center and play f3 followed by g4? Yuck.)

A little caution is indicated, as White is formally behind in development.

7.Nc3, castle queenside, win in boring fashion.
