SAVE THE INWOOD SEVEN ! ! !

This is outrageous! Maybe we should do something like schedule a tournament at that park as a protest.

The whole law in NY is outrageous. (For those not living in NY, there’s been a law for a few years: adult can’t step foot in a playground unless you have a child there). We’re not supposed to stereotype, but since i’m an adult, i’m automatically a child molester and can’t step foot in a park. Instead of “no blacks allowed”, or “no Jews allowed” now the sign is “no adults allowed”. What progress.

By the way, Mr City Government, my taxes pay for the park i'm not allowed to step foot in. And, as if this great law is going to stop child molestation or kidnapping. Yeah, sure.

I can't understand what's going on in America. I'm not political, but something like this is such a blatant infringement on basic freedoms, how many other freedoms are quietly going to be swept under the table? This is the typical situation these days: one bad thing happens somewhere, and an entire set of regulations limiting basic freedoms are passed, and nobody even notices.

Sorry to get on the soapbox, but this law has angered me for years.

I think that’s a great idea. i’d gladly participate. And i havent played in a tournament in about 15 years, but this would be a worthwhile cause.

You know in many villages (Kenyan) a child is raised by the village and is considered to have many parents and may not even know who their biological parents are! So we organize a tourney and one person bring a kid as we are a community family!!

Great Karchad! Perhaps rather than a rated tourney we could do it as a “play in”, to borrow language from the '60s, just skittles. More people would probably attend that way.
