I have a wireless network at home which timesout whenever I upload a tournament. I’ve tried at various times during the week…
When this is uploaded on a wired connection, there are no problems.
I don’t know why wireless vs wired would make any difference. I’ve done both from my home network here in Nebraska.
Do both use the same browser and/or ISP setup? That’s probably where
the timeouts are coming from, I’m still not sure what causes them.
I do know people have had problems with Internet Explorer, but mostly
those are related to logging in, and it sounds like you’re getting that far. Changing the security setting to ‘MEDIUM’ or lower usually helps.
We also have had problems that appear to be file-name related.
A space in either the file or directory name will cause the upload to fail, this appears to be a flaw in how most browsers handle the upload element and may have to do with ow browsers pass arguments to the web server.
Yea, it’s pretty weird. I’m wondering if it’s just my wireless in general. It had nothing to do with the spaces, but hopefully it’s a good FYI for anyone who is having problems.
