Use of Win TD

I was recently given a copy of WINTD as of today I have not been able to open the CD. I only have standard programs on my computer: Mircosoft Word, I also have Windows Office, Fritz and Chess Base.

Any suggesion on finding TECH Support.

Insufficient data. What format is the file in? I believe WinTD normally comes in a self-extracting zip file (ending in .exe). If so, copy it to your hard drive and double-click on the icon to install. If it is in a straight zip file (ending in .zip), you will have to extract the contents first (how you do this depends on your version of Windows). If someone copied his WinTD files to a CD, you should copy the contents to a new folder and click on whatever ends in .exe (As I recall, WinTD is a single file, but there might be some help or demo files inlcuded.)

The programs you mentioned have nothing to do with manipulating or opening files. For that, you must use My Computer or Windows Explorer.

Given a copy, eh? You can buy yourself a legal copy at the same web site. Always a nice thing to do.
