Did any one pay to watch the match from the official site? Did you think it was worth the fee? Lots of sites have the game but I understand that they are to get the moves with a 30 minute delay.

I watched (am watching) it on ChessGames.com live. If it’s not truly “live” (no idea) it doesn’t bother me as the commentary from the others (including GMs) is still live to the moves.
i’m watching the moves come in on chessdom.com… the delay doesnt bother me, to me it’s live! Hey, kudos to Anand for playing 4.f3 against the NimzoIndian! Interesting game. Looks like anand has the advantage at this moment.
Friday Oct 24 I watch the match on the official site. The site said today was free for 30 minutes. Turned out it was free for more than 90 minutes. Quite a setup. The full screen video of the players was a bit fuzzy on my monitor. I listen to Yasser Seirawan comment on the game. There was a screen shot of the actual game and he had a comment board that he could move pieces on and talk about them. Quite a setup but I am not sure I would pay money for this. To many sites that a doing the games. Guess the thing about delay of the moves other than the official site lasted only a day or two.

Yeah, the delay ended up going away as they had no real way to enforce it for the most part. The only site that honored it at all, was the ICC for the first few days.
I’ve debated watching one game on through the foidos site, but it would be a gamble to pay 10 euro and hope there is a good game that day. I’ll just stick with the ICC, and chessdom.com
Score is 6:3 as of today.
Unless lightning strikes for Kramnik, Anand’s win is all but a forgone conclusion.
