The Colorado Springs Chess Club held the March Quick Qualifier at the club on the 5th Tuesday. Rhett Langseth earned a spot in the 3rd City Quick Championship section in November by surviving his nemesis, Clint Eads. There are 2 more qualifying events later this year.

Also, the Colorado Springs Chess Club held the April Speed Qualifier at a new location on Monday night since we are running out of 5th Tuesdays. Paul Anderson earned a spot in the 31st City Speed Championship section in December by surviving his nemesis, Jose Llacza. There are 2 more qualifying events later this year.
