Will SwissSys for Windows run on a Mac?

My laptop is six years old and groaning under the strain of today’s applications and web pages (note to web developers: believe it or not, you don’t have to use Flash for everything), and it’s coming time to pick out its replacement. Unfortunately, I’m uninspired by the designs of many of the laptops on the market now, and doubly uninspired by Windows 8. Ideally, I’d like to get an up-to-date model that I can buy with Windows 7 Home Premium installed on it, but those are getting tough to find. Meanwhile, all the best reviews are going to Apple laptops.

Of course, any laptop that I can’t run SwissSys on is going to be a complete waste of money. Has anyone else tried running it under a Mac OS? Does it work seamlessly? Does it work, but with quirks? Does it not work at all? Any difficulty importing supplements and Golden databases or exporting tournaments for rating?

I have a MacBook Pro and I run SwissSys on it but I’m running a virtual machine with Windows using VMWare Fusion (you can use that or Parallels) where SwissSys resides.

SwissSys does not run on MacOS natively.

WinTD has a Mac version but I’m prefer SwissSys over WinTD.
