The 2026 officers of the Colorado Springs Chess Club have decided to implement Nathaniel Heithoff’s suggestion for the schedule and alternate between G/70d10 and G/75+30 for our monthly events:
70d10: March, May, July, September, November
75+30: February, April, June, August, December
60th City Champ: October
3rd City Quick Champ: November 24th (Qualifiers: 3/31, 6/30, 9/26)
31st City Speed Champ: December 29th
Anmar Almallak tied with Bill Slichenmyer and Mark McGough to split the prize fund in the February Swiss 75.
