2010 World Senior

Event starts later this month in Italy. http://www.arcoworldchess.com/

Mike Schemm (WA), Jude Acers (LA) and GM Larry Kaufman plus Dan Mayer (ID) are on the advanced list. There are some other USA players but does not seem to be any USA Woman players taking part.
A number of GMs from around the world are on the advanced list in this event for which you must be age 60 and over. 50 boards games are to be online.

Russell Miller, Vancouver WA

What’s the point of being the top over 60 in the U.S. Senior if, as it seems here, anyone can enter?

Expenses stipend?

This is what the qualifier gets: $500 USCF stipend towards expenses, plus room and board by the host country.

Any grants from AARP for air fare?
