I was wondering if there are any chess clubs in the metro Detroit area. Any help would be appreciated. Mike

The highlighted one is the regular USCF club. The other three are scholastic.

Seems the USCF needs to update their clubs list.

If you live near the eastside of Detroit, the Grosse Pointe CC is highly recommended along with the Universal CC in Warren.

If you are looking for a nice quiet game with only a handful of players, then choose the GPCC. If you like your chess a little rowdier and louder, then the UCC is recommended. Also, the UCC has a larger variety of playing strength, from novice all the way to master.
