While volunteering to Q&A for the showing of Brooklyn Castle, I discovered the president of the hosting film group had started a Go club at the coffee shop in a local bookstore. Does anyone have any experience at a club where chess and (an)other game(s) are/is played?
I have heard the Paul Morphy Chess Club in New Orleans only has card games now and it was necessary to form the NOCC to play chess at a club. OTOH, turnout for both games sometimes has been very poor and maybe the option to play either game could help both.
