Because I have what Mr. Reed would describe as “a Ballou-sized raft of ADMs,” I have created a PDF file with the ADMs I plan to submit. The file is available as a publicly accessible file on Google Drive here. (No Google sign-in is required to access this file.)
I welcome any Delegates who wish to cosponsor any of these motions.
Can you add a few more d/10 time controls to the list of standard time controls please? More organizers are following CCa’s lead and I think d/10 will soon be nearly as popular as d/5. Thus, it would be weird to have only one d/10 time control listed and a whole bunch of d/5 time controls listed. 40/110 SD/30 d/10 is a standard time control used by CCA now. G/60 d/10 is also a standard time control used by CCA for some of its shorter schedules.
Why is Quick chess called “fast” instead of Blitz?
In 5B, why do the time controls that constitute quick, dual, and blitz need to be stated multiple times in such a short span?
I don’t like the wording of this sentence.
Why is this part of a TD tip and not a sub-rule of 5B? Also, it should be added that this rule also applies if there are different time controls for different rounds (not just different schedules). Also, in the example it would probably be good to state a delay or increment for the “game 45”.
Ken, in this thread, viewtopic.php?f=2&t=20718, you said you were planning to submit an ADM to correct the title of rule 11H but this is not in your collection of 2015 ADMs. Are you still planning on submitting an ADM on rule 11H?
Also, how about merging rules 11B1 and 11D1 into one rule since 11D1, illegal move in sudden-death time pressure, is covered in 11B1, illegal moves in time pressure. Also, the first sentence of 11D1 “A director should not call attention to illegal moves in sudden death time time pressure” can be deleted if the title of rule 11H is corrected.
