As far as I know, US Chess does not have a complete list of membership rates in one place so players can easily see all the membership options available to them. Therefore, I had to put this together myself a few years ago, pdxchess.org/wp-content/uploads/ … nefits.pdf. Feel free to use the document.
It’s always fun shopping at the US Chess membership store.
There are membership options that will never be available on the membership webstore, for a variety of reasons.
For example, prison memberships and memberships for the blind require office verification of eligibility. Prisons also tend to have rules about how to address material being sent to inmates that affect how the address fields are formatted.
do “tournament memberships” still exist? have a couple high school players interested in trying us chess events.
thanks, …scot…

US Chess has not offered ‘length of tournament’ memberships for a number of years.
The only short-term memberships currently offered are the two month trial memberships, which are $20. For most players under 25, it makes more sense to have them buy a one year membership.
This is NOT a complete list of all the membership rates. For example, the two-month and international online memberships aren’t mentioned.
