Correcting a CLO error

On the Chess Life Online article: http://main.uschess.org/content/view/11355/639/ I’d like to take a second out to publicly apologize to Hank Anzis. I accidentally copied and pasted the incorrect name of the individual who writes Broken Pawn and it thereby it was uploaded incorrectly. When I’m wrong I don’t apologize but opt to state I am sorry and to Hank Anzis I am terribly sorry. The mistake was on my part and not that of any member of the USCF Editorial Staff and was never meant as a slight. I did contact the CLO Editor who I’m certain will correct [via backend] the error in time to have many of you not notice the error.

Hank beat out his rival in that category with an outstanding 5 out of 6 points in contrast to his respective challenger who earned 1 out of 6 points. I realize that after the Chess Life Online blog article Hank picked up on the error and commented, “Broken Pawn is written by Hank Anzis  …losing my 15 minutes of fame…” Well to Hank, his fellow Iowa chess players and all here’s you 15 minutes of fame and much more! Congrats on winning the CJA Best Chess Blog Award
