This one you sent me around 5:35pm Eastern time / 4:35pm Central time.
This one did fix the “floor not showing in the results” problem.

Hmm, that file says it is a 2025-11-01 rating for you
OK, my bad, I confused the new file with an old one, the names were too similar. The one I posted this afternoon had the right formatting but November not December data. :sigh:
Updated tsv file is available, I think I notified everyone who asked for a set.
If not, drop me an email.
The updated tsv looks good, with 2 minor notes:
My version of SwissSys (11.75) won’t touch supplement files and only uses allratings. It does, however, seem fine with the current tsv file.
My WinTD (5.10c) seems to only want to download a database so that’s probably going to be between US Chess and Tom Doan to sort out.
Reported to Leago.
As to which versions of WinTD and SwissSys use which files, I don’t have that information. I sent copies of the files to Tom Doan, I don’t recall if the new SwissSys team has asked for them yet, so I sent them the info.
I think I"ve heard that the latest allratings file worked ok with the latest wintd, I don’t specifically recall if anyone’s gotten the latest gold master to work with either wintd or swisssys, and I’m not sure which versions of those programs support which supplement files.
Tom Doan says about WinTD:
5.0 uses the tab delimited file.
4.2 uses the GDB
4.1 and earlier use the DBF supplements
Sounds good - the tab file is working with both recent wintd and recent swisssys, so that’s a good start.
There should be another set of candidate December supplement files around midday on Tuesday, but probably not the final set. (There’s one sequencing issue that still needs to be tracked down, we can reproduce it but we don’t know how widespread it is.)
We still need someone to run the DBF files through WinTD 4.2 or lower.
Aside from Tom Doan, your best bet here is probably to release the DBF files and wait for complaints.
Yeah, but if the complaint comes in at 6PM on a Friday night, there’s no way it’ll get resolved in time for a Saturday morning tournament.
And Nolan’s Rule is that any problem with US Chess’s computers or ratings data will happen between 5PM on Friday (Noon Wednesday this week) and 10 AM on Monday.
Will be at regular download page? Or MUIR has download page for supplement?
File format will be same? Or “new MUIR own format”?
The candidate release files are by request only, I send out the link.
As far as I know, the format of the files remains the same, though I don’t know if anyone has actually tested the gold master version on WinTD.
The intersection of “people using a version of WinTD from 2014” and “people paying enough attention to notice there are new supplement files for testing” cannot be large.
I’m pretty sure there’s an API already available for accessing the rating supplements table, but I haven’t looked at it. If it downloads the entire table, it’s huge because it goes back to the 1990’s. Hopefully it has a date select capability.
Leago believes they have solved the remaining ratings flow issue, so there will be another rerate and candidate supplement file (hopefully the final one) later today or early tomorrow.
I usually do not use API for supplement ratings because downloading golden and restoring in my system is faster. Only around 1.2 M players. At this point I use API for live ratings only. Since you guys do not provide live rating at the front spot, then I need to drill down to section level and find the player.
The latest set of candidate December 2025 supplement files is available. So far they’ve passed my tests but I don’t have a way to test the DBF files with either WinTD < 5.0 or SwissSys.
If someone would like to help out with those, please email me: mnolan@uschess.org
Barring any problems, these files will be probably released on MUIR tomorrow morning.
Any change to the allratings TSV?
Formatting, no, but the data is cleaned up a bit. It should always have someone’s current published rating in each category even if they didn’t play any games in that category this month. It has FIDE IDs but not FIDE ISO country codes.
The data in the goldmaster DBF file also looked good, but I don’t have a pairing program I can test it with.
Absent any reports of problems, these will be released for TDs and affiliates around noon today on the MUIR site.
