What is the proper way to pronounce the name ‘Sinquefield’?

Is it like: SINK-feeld ?

Or is it like: SINK-kay-feeld ?

Or…?

Perhaps its prounounced Smith, but just spelled like SINK-field.

When we introduced ourselves at last year’s US Championships, this is the pronunciation he used.

I’d have guessed either SINK-field or SANK-field (on the hypothesis that it might have its origin in French).
