how to contact another member?

is there a simple way to access contact info for another us chess member? i’m trying to contact an “old” acquaintance to see if he would like to play in the upcoming USATN event.

I hope not!

If he posts on the forum, you could send him a message through here. Otherwise, I can’t imagine US Chess giving you someone’s contact information…

What the US Chess office might do is to contact the member and pass on a message from you or ask him if he’s interested in exchanging email with you. I suggest using “Contact” at the bottom of the “ABOUT” menu on the uschess.org home page to request this.

You might have better luck at the state level rather than the national level.

When I’ve had prizes to distribute but no addresses, I’ve just sent the checks to Crossville and they magically get to the proper destination.
