I have been submitting tournaments for a short time. When logging on to the affiliate page, down at the bottom under “Submit a Tournament” there is a box with “This affiliate doesn’t have any draft tournaments.”
Being able to save a tournament announcement before submitting would be helpful, but for the life of me I cannot find a way to save a draft of a tournament announcement. It’s probably so obvious I don’t see it.

On the US Chess staff page there is the following:
“For Tournament Life Announcements (TLAs), please contact tla@uschess.org (print TLAs) or jjlang@uschess.org (online TLAs and email blasts)”
Posting in the forums is a good way to get an answer to simple questions like this, in the hopes someone else has also come across the situation or knows the answer, but yes, if you do not get an answer as quickly as you’d like, probably emailing the correct place is the way to go. BTW I find most staff members don’t have time to spend visiting the forum for things that might be related to their areas of responsibility.
