did anyone also notice there seems to be a bulk rerate happening after Sep 17, 2025?

Yes, there was a full rerate run this week.
One of the things we’re doing to get ready for the Leago transition is cleaning up tournament database issues, eliminating unnecessary stuff (like a 5 round event where the database shows unplayed games for all players in rounds 6 through 20) and fixing a number of errors and inconsistencies. We completed the majority of those updates last week and some of those corrections went back to the 1990’s, so a full rerate was needed, a process that took until Thursday evening. It takes several days for all those changes (6.2 million records were updated) to get posted to the current MSA server. It should be caught up in another day or two. (It works backwards, so the most recent events are up to date, and when I checked on it recently it was working on 2019.)
Thankfully, this is something that should go away once we move to Leago, the tournament data it shows should be coming from the live database, not a separate standalone database like the one MSA uses. I’m not sure yet exactly when rerates will be run on Leago, but when one is run the tournament history part of MUIR should reflect changes as they’re made.
There may be further database updates ahead of the Leago conversion.
