One of our home grown players finished tied for second and likely broke 2000 for the first time.
Sorry the crosstable isn’t up on MSA yet. Bob Messenger and I took a wrong turn leaving Keene last night and, after many adventures, I didn’t get home until past midnight. I was too tired to do the report right away. I’m going to begin work on it in just a few minutes.
For the record, the two GMs in the event (Ivanov and Perelshteyn) drew with each other in a fighting game in Rd. 3. In Rd. 4, Ivanov defeated NM Farzad Abdi (2336) in a wild time scramble in which Ivanov had just 2 seconds on his clock for many moves. Meanwhile, Perelshteyn could only draw with FM Brad Bournival (2390) to finish in a tie for 2nd-3rd at 3.0. As you note, the other player in that tie was Ian Dudley of VT (1923), who defeated NM Nithin Kavi (2236) in the final round.
I hope to have the report submitted in a couple of hours.

Thanks. Ian just missed breaking 2000. Soon, we hope.
