I’ve been exploring the mechanics of how to enter tournament results after the recent changes to the USCF computer systems. Most of it looks pretty straightforward, but one thing I still haven’t been able to find out is how TDs can enter new memberships and membership renewals. This has been an integral part of nearly every tournament I’ve run, since there is nearly always someone joining or renewing, and the ability to do this online is therefore what has made it possible for tournaments to be rated within 24 hours of when they are played.
Is there something I’ve missed, or has this feature not been implemented yet in the new system?
