There’s a 28-page advertising insert from G-Star Raw in today’s New York Times. Magnus appears in the lower left corner of Page 27 with a note that sums up his year.
“In March, Magnus took part in the Amber Tournament in Monte Carlo Bay _ a competition with a specuial format (players are blindfolded and must play a rapid speed) _ for the fourth time.”
It makes it sound like the players really had blindfolds on (actually they can look at blank computer screens with an empty chess board on it) and that the speed and blindfold rules applied to the same games.
