Greetings,
I have updated my Most Wanted Chess Players list for 2012. Alex Torres is still my biggest thorn in my side. I go 6-1 against him last year and still loose points.

Susan Polgar posted a couple of my videos to her website last year. I finally found out why I had such a big spike in views that day!

Don’t forget about casual chess this Saturday. It has now been added to the calendar with map and details. In fact, the calendar has become the official schedule for the Colorado Springs Chess Club and is up to date for 2012 thanks to out-going club officer, Dean Brown. He wanted a break from his long-standing position with the club. So, I took over as an officer along with incumbents, Jeff Fox and Buck Buchanan. If there are any improvements you would like to see with the club, feel free to contact any of the officers through this newsletter.

Also, Tyler Chase sent in a game on the facebook group which I added to the home page in the new click-thru style. You can view it here:
Peace be with you,

Each year I check my chess database to see which chess players have taken the most rating points from me over the years, so I know who I am gunning for. This past year Alex Torres broke the 100 point barrier, and Rhett Langseth knocked his dad out of the top 4 to make the first family members to hit the list at the same time.

My Chess Rating Benefactors
It is also nice to see who is giving me the most rating points over the years too. Dan Avery’s championship run took him off the list, and Tony Telinbacco knocked off Richard Cordovano. NM Josh Bloomer showed up at the club once and got added to the list.
