I did play against Vincent in 1 tournament game over the years, and he defeated me. Vincent was an absolute gentleman and was extremely complimentary towards his opponents, and he made everyone feel better about their games. RIP my friend, you will be missed.
Respectfully Submitted, David A. Cole, USCF Life Member, Franklin, NJ
He was very knowledgeable about the books and equipment the USCF sold. His passion for the game flowed over into his job when he worked at the New Windsor office, and he was a great asset to the staff when the Federation was active in that business.
I was so looking forward to meeting up with Vince next Saturday to visit the USATE
as I did spend some time with him catching up on old times at the last few USATE’s, and it is not to be. RIP my friend.

If anybody is in the area and would like to attend, that would be appreciated. Unfortunately, a prior commitment prevents me from going, as my parents are celebrating their 60th anniversary today and will be away this weekend.
