Rating an event with a foreign player

I am a TD with a tournament validation issue.

First problem: I cannot post to the Running Chess Tournaments category.

Second problem: We did a 1-time, 1-round free promotional on 26 December. One player was a German high school exchange student. How do I get a tournament membership for him?

You should have posting privileges now. (This has to be done manually since the Forums cannot access the member database.)

As to your tournament, I’m not sure this player meets any of the options for waiving the membership requirement. You can process a $20 2-month membership for him or any age-specific membership he’s eligible for.

Um, where can I process a $20 2-month membership? I can’t seem to find that option.

I believe it has to be done through the batch membership process for TDs.
