The motion to eliminate dual ratings, as a way of keeping the regular and quick ratings separate, failed overwhelmingly when the 30-65 minute period that is currently dual rated was going to be changed to quick rated only. Before quick rating even existed a G/30 time control was regular rated and the delegates were almost unanimously against that change.
