Tactic Tim

Greetings,

This week’s newsletter comes from Tim Brennan. Tim has been writing an article for me for 7 years now. You can see all his stuff here:

Of course, this year’s edition is my favorite. I knew having him write for me would amount to more than just a week off. It is also funny to note that my first attempt writing for his newsletter arrived in my inbox today.

Peace be with you,

Paul Anderson

Hey this is Tim Brennan,

I am honored to once again be invited by Paul Anderson to be part of his “Tim Brennan week”… It is like Discovery Channel’s “Shark Week”, only much more disappointing!

I have been a huge fan of Paul Anderson’s e-mail chess newsletter for years now. He was part of the inspiration for me to start my own chess e-mail newsletter…

Here is a game of mine played at the Colorado Class, where I “grasped defeat from the jaws of victory”. I was up 3 pawns against Larry Wutt, and managed to practically help mate myself by falling asleep at the wheel - D’oh!!

Cheers, Tim

P.S. If you haven’t already be sure to sign up for my chess tactics e-mail newsletter at tacticstime.com!
