I think a most apropos chess logo for current times would be a globe with 8 players playing on IPhones,tablets,laptops,and desktops (2 of each).
That’s a good point. I’ve made up a proposed new logo for FIDE which I sent to them via email. I’ve offered to license it to them over three years for $1 million USD.
