Cannot find Chess Life TLA Deadlines which used to be in the magazine. I checked out TLAinfo, but it was not there. Help
It may not be the most obvious place to look for it (what a shock!) but I found all that ‘boilerplate’ text from the TLA pages that used to be in each issue on the 2nd page of the latest Grand Prix standings:
The link gave me a blank document that locked my computer up.
Works fine for me. You may have some browser setting that blocks PDF files.
It should have brought up a link to a PDF file. Do you have a PDF viewer on that computer?
The short version is:
If you want your TLA to be in the April issue, the TLA needs to be into the USCF office by Feb 10th. Other months have the same relative deadline, the 10th of the month BEFORE the issue goes on press, which is the month before the cover date of that issue.
Yes, but not the latest version, maybe that’s the problem.
