Anyone working the Supernationals this year? Pat Knight is willing to help us with “roommates”, if anyone wants to share a room with anyone else in particular. (is that sentence grammatically correct? - not enough coffee yet)
Anyhow, who all will be working this this year?
I already sent in my desired roommate with my confirmation. We’ll see how that goes.
Uh-oh! I sense I might be a little low on the seniority list. Actually, am I the lowest on that list?

You’ll probably see almost all of the faces familiar from the last few years along with a few more TDs.
I know that I was to respond by 2/13, so it may be soon that they will be able to give a list of TDs who are actually working it.

The obvious roommate pairing here is Tim with Enrique.
Would that be the Accelerated, or Standard, pairing?

Staffing the SuperNationals is not really a question of deciding “who to get” - it’s more a question of “who do we need to avoid, this time”.
So, the answer to the question “Who will be at SuperNationals?” is “EVERYONE!”
See you there.
(a leisurely 4 hour drive for me, highlighted by lunch at Exit 22 - “The Tennessean”…yummy)

You won’t be the lowest. SuperNationals will be my first national event.

They had a nice Irish pub in the Gaylord that had wonderful Fish and chips when I worked the Elementary two years ago.
So, you’ll be there sloan? Will finally get to meet you? (O;

Please tell me that you really meant to say “meet you”. Did you see “Sweeney Todd” recently?

As of November the Irish Pub/restaurant was still there. The food is nothing to write home to Dublin about, though. I’ll let someone more qualified, like Phil Smith, comment on the adequacy of their bar.

I haven’t had authentic Irish cuisine so couldn’t compare. It was a lot better than LJS, King Fish, or the like though (o:

I think he just missed him. That was indeed a close shave .
And while we’re on the theme of music, FYI, that selfsame pub has a tradition of good live music (I actually bought a cd from a duo playing there when I worked last time). Definitely not to be missed by anyone on staff this turn around.

I presume that goes for us coaches too.

Gives a whole new meaning to “Shepherds Pie”, doesn’t it?
