It seems that now when you submit a membership batch online, you no longer receive an email confirmation of the memberships submitted and you no longer even get a screen display which displays the name, ID numbers and type of membership submitted (you still don’t get a confirmation of the amount paid for each member either).
In the time it takes for the Memberships Submitted tab on your dashboard to update (which can be several days), you have no confirmation or receipt of the memberships you recently submitted.
From what I’ve been told and what staff have reported, MSA is being updated for new and renewed memberships within about 5 minutes of when a transaction is processed.
I have no involvement in membership processing programming these days, though I still have to deal with the impact membership processing has on things like processing ratings and tournament registration processing, and I can get pretty frustrated about problems, too.
Some of my frustration comes from the fact that we have membership data in 3 separate places, the primary membership system is the civi-CRM system, but we also have membership data at AWS for the MSA system and in another data center for ratings and tournament registrations, and keeping them fully synched has been challenging.
