Just getting around to reading NIC 2015 #8. I see that Dylan is now writing for them. I know he’s been living the good expat life in Paris…France. Great to see him still involved with writing about chess. Bravo.
Living in Paris and covering chess for a living-good for him! I thought it was stupid for the NYT to discontinue its chess column-I lived in commuted into NYC for almost 3 decades and always enjoyed the articles they ran
He’s living in Paris. Last I knew, he had a very nice French girlfriend. Dylan not making his living from writing about chess. Writing about chess for the NY Times was not how he spent the major portion of his time there. He was in the business/financial department and, IIRC, shared a few years ago in a Pulitzer Prize won by the Times in that area.
