Great Chess Website

This is a very interesting website about chess and chess history, particularly in New York City:
web.jrn.columbia.edu/newmedia/20 … ers/chess/

Great footage of the Marshall, too!

If the USCF had something like this on its website, we'd probably be signing up a lot of new members!

I tried it and all I get is a blank screen.

The page is completely dependent on Flash. You probably have some browser setting or add-on blocking it.

That site is awesom!

I’d go for “something like that” rather than the site itself, because I got tired of waiting for things to load (and getting strange sounds whenever I moved my mouse too close to a picture I had no intention of clicking on) and left before I could check out most of it. But something with material like that in an accessible format, yeah, I could go for it.

Not sure how it would create members, but it’s always good to be informative.
