We’re experiencing a heavy load on www.uschess.org, probably some kind of webscraping on MSA data.
This is causing queries to the home page to fail.
We have seen this before, for several hours yesterday and during several of the spring nationals.
For now, what we’ve done is to shut down the MSA part of www.uschess.org so that our home page isn’t affected.
We’re exploring other solutions, some changes we were hoping to make in a few weeks might need to be made now.
